Once in a while you lose track of yourself…I hold my hands up…I wrote this blog weeks ago and just found it un-posted!! Am I losing my marbles!?!?! Janet and Peter, please forgive me!! x
So…..On a gloriously sunny Saturday morning in September, Janet and Peter rolled up in a beautiful vintage Rover, ready to marry at Winchester Registry Office. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged enormous grins and rings and from this moment, didn’t stop smiling all day. In fact, they are, without a doubt, two of the smiliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing!
It was a ceremony full of giggles, they had the most hilarious reading which had everyone in stitches! If you’re on the hunt for something to lighten the tone of your wedding ceremony, it’s worth checking it out here. We took a stroll in the sunshine through Winchester Cathedral grounds and paused for some portraits and then on to The Chesil Rectory where we enjoyed the most beautiful meal! This place is fantastic, if you haven’t had the very great pleasure of dining there before, you really must! With it’s quirky little nooks, low beams and exquisite menu, it really is worth treating yourself.
It really was the most wonderful day, the relaxed atmosphere and constant laughter were a sure sign that Janet and Peter had got the tone of the day absolutely perfect! There is something totally wonderful about having a day as relaxed as theirs was, it simply was laid back luxury! Thank you, both, for letting us share your special day.
Here are some of the highlights…
