It’s fair to say that most of my enquiries about wedding photography come from the brides, it’s not that I think guys are lazy about planning a big day….more that they just let their girls get on with it! So (yes, I’ve started a sentence with a conjunction…my English teacher would be frowning over her specs) I’ll admit, it was really refreshing to hear from Paul following a recommendation from the very lovely Tracy at Once Upon A Time Tiaras…not only did Tracy tell me that these guys were lovely but I discovered quickly that Paul was a ‘taking an interest’ kind of Groom…definitely my kind of guy!
I was so excited to meet these guys, they are marrying at the very beautiful Farbridge in May and I’m so pleased to be invited to document their day. One of the loveliest things about this session was meeting two people who gel so perfectly…I giggled at the mock strangling, grinned at the gentle (and not so gentle!) jibes to one another during the session and positively whooped when I witnessed a momentary hand-in-hand hop and skip at one point! Denise and Paul are great fun, what’s not to like!
I don’t want to ruin the surprise by spilling what they are planning for their day but there is no doubt that it will be a fantastically fun and colourful occasion; I can’t wait!
