I first spoke with Naomi about plans for their big day a year or so ago. Mr.C and I had just arrived on holiday in Devon and I had vowed to put work to one side and have some down time…then my phone rang, “I’ll just get this one” I said and I’m so glad I did! I instantly liked Naomi, she sounded so warm and friendly and a few weeks later, when I met with her fiance and the rest of the family, I could tell that this was something that they all had in common.
We were delighted to enjoy a little catch up with both Naomi and Simon when we photographed the marriage of Kylie & Matt in October last year and caught up with them again last week to take some pics at their pre-wedding shoot.
We met by the river in Winchester and took a stroll in the sunshine, chatting and trying to sneakily capture pictures of the children as they ran ahead. We walked around and through the Cathedral grounds, desperately trying to dodge the crowds of people who were out enjoying the beautiful weather and considering the children were only bribed ever so slightly with the prospect of an ice cream, they were brilliant! There is nothing worse than trying to force children to have their pictures taken and in the end….we got them all together!! Both Naomi and Simon were wonderful to spend time with and photograph, I can’t wait for their big day in August!
