We first met with Emily and Mark several months back (when I was pretty round with pregnancy!) and enjoyed chatting with them about their plans for their special day in May. I was instantly drawn to this lovely family, not only do they have a beautiful daughter, Arabella (she’s just SO cute!!) but we had the pleasure of meeting Emily’s parents too and were instantly made to feel welcome by them all. Watching Emily and Mark together, I couldn’t wait to photograph them and I wasn’t disappointed.
Luck was entirely on our side last Saturday as we headed out for their Pre-Wedding Shoot at Titchfield Haven. The weather over the previous days had been changeable and I really wasn’t keen on dragging them out in the rain. Needless to say, I had a little skip in my step thanks to the beautiful sunshine and blue sky that met us at the water-side….particularly as only a few hours later it absolutely poured out of the sky! We parked the cars and strolled along the seafront chatting about their plans and catching up. I am so grateful to these guys for being super patient for their pre-wedding shoot. Up until recently, I’d been too pregnant to move and then too new to motherhood (!!) to be able to get them photographed!
I loved watching this new family chatting and laughing and was warmed by their closeness. Emily’s gentle calmness and Mark’s cheeky smile and twinkly eyes make for a beautiful union…the love between these guys is so evident and they simply glow with love for their gorgeous daughter.
These guys are marrying next month at Farbridge, West Sussex. The venue is stunning and we just know that this is going to be such a wonderful day – we really can’t wait!!
