It’s not often that I’m on a seafront first thing in the morning but this particular occasion made me wonder why I don’t do it more often!
Worried about rush hour, I set off super-early and arrived in time sit peacefully and observe the morning joggers and dog walkers doing laps of the boating lake…I even got to partake in a cheery “morning” nod as they passed. It was bitterly cold and I was wondering why I hadn’t had the sense to put a coat on when Tash, her husband and their gorgeous little girl, Connie, joined me; ready and armed with bread for the birds…then I forgot to be cold.
Connie was an absolute delight! Even though she was a little under the weather, she happily played in the park and toddled along the beach whilst I jumped around photographing her and aside from an incident with a swan (which was bigger than she was!) it was a thoroughly enjoyable session!
