When I met Lucy and Doug, just a few weeks after the birth of their son, to talk about their wedding I was pleased to say that I remembered them from another wedding I’d photographed. The truth is, I was unlikely to forget their joint church ‘reading’…they utilised a few favourite ‘Wham’ lyrics to describe their friends love for one another… “you take the grey skies outta my way, you make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day”…it was nothing short of genius!
So, aside from chatting about their wedding next year (more about that when I do their pre-wedding session!) we also discussed the joys of parenthood and I was delighted when they asked me to pop by and take a few pictures of their little bundle of gorgeousness, Jude.
