Dear friends, it has been far too long since my last post but we have been very busy indeed!
Allow me to introduce you – officially – to our little bundle of joy, George Edwin who made a very enthusiastic entry to the world on 29th January. Unfortunately I was rather poorly with pre-eclampsia which lasted well into the weeks after the birth so I wasn’t able to get back on my feet quite as quickly as I would have liked! Saying that, everything is now back to normal and I’m just edging my way back into work.
We are so touched by all the love and support we have received in our new roles as parents – it is certainly a far more demanding (and exhausting!) role than we ever thought imaginable…though it is also more rewarding. I shall try and restrain myself from posting George related blogs too frequently…I don’t want to bore you after all!
We are looking forward to a wonderful year of weddings and are delighted to that next years wedding calendar is filling up too. I am delighted to say that nearly every single enquiry we have had to date has come on recommendation from you, our readers, clients and friends. There is so much planned for us and I do hope you will continue to join us for the journey…it won’t be long and we’ll be able to launch our new website (I know…it’s been a long time coming but I wasn’t expecting to have a George so you have to let me off!) and I hope that you will continue to pop by for more of my ramblings and photo’s.
Our first job of the year is the wedding of Karren and Steve at the end of the month (you can see their pre-wedding shoot here). We can’t wait to witness their union and look forward to sharing their love, in images, with you.
