I recall spending my school years giggling with Steph in art classes, visiting Pizza Hut with her for birthdays and being in awe of her Netball skills. Whilst we weren’t permanently in each others pockets, we were good friends and it’s only now….a scary amount of years later…that I realise what a horrible shame it was to have lost touch.
When Steph got in touch about photographing her wedding I actually squeaked. I really squeaked. With childish abandon, our emails were littered with exclamation marks and I was full of questions! What are you doing now? Where do you live? Tell me more about this guy you’re marrying!!!!!! I shall be forever indebted to Facebook for reuniting us.
Well, a few weeks ago we met up and I was introduced to Marc…the kind of guy that if we were still 13, we’d probably swoon over and giggle nervously around him. Heck. 20 years later I was still inclined to swoon and giggle but mostly I wanted to tell her what a lucky girl she is! We chatted over a coffee and headed out for pictures on a VERY windy seafront…for two people who implied that they were very nervous, they looked like naturals.
I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year….you gorgeous couple, you!!
Love is getting stuck in foliage and your man being there to un-stick you.
Well done Abi these photos are simply gorgeous!
You’ve really captured them beautifully!
Thanks from a very proud Mum xx
Thanks, Keryn! They were such fun to be with…I can’t wait for the big day! x
