Boy was I in for a treat meeting this little family! Hannah got in touch when her bridesmaid, Helen (both my oldest friend and a great photographer herself) recommended that she give me a call. We chatted away with ease whilst she told me about her day and from what Helen had to say, I knew these guys were going to be my kind of people. What I didn’t realise was what a dream they were going to be to photograph!
We met in the grounds of Ashton Court in Long Ashton near Bristol for their session last weekend and after hugging like old friends and a quick hot drink (it wasn’t as warm as we’d have liked!) we headed out to play.
What I love about pre-wedding sessions with other families is having my own family with me. Perhaps this is rather unorthodox, in fact, it may even be considered completely unprofessional! However, for me this session is about getting to know one another and what better way to know me than to see me as a photographer, wife and mother. This was the set up for the session with Hannah and Joe, whilst I photographed them, my chap entertained George and Freddie with bubbles and toys just out of shot…
I had such a great time with this little family and I really can’t wait to spend more time with them in September for their special day at Priston Mill in Bath. Enjoy the images guys and thank you for letting me photograph you all!
What AMAZING photos, thanks soooooo much again, love them, love them, love them, 8 weeks to go to see more of your beautiful work. Xxxxxx
Thanks, Hannah! I’m so glad you love the pictures…I can’t wait to photograph you all again! xx
