When I met Robyn and Dave at the beginning of last year I was amazed by them. Actually amazed. Their vivaciousness, how much they laughed (both with and at each other) and how passionate they were about their work. We talked about their plans to travel as well as their plans to marry and I left their home an hour or so later with my fingers and toes crossed that they would like me as much as I liked them.
Well, thankfully for me, they did! Robyn and I have been whizzing emails back and forth throughout the last year or so and when they suggested that they have their pre-wedding session at the funfair in Southsea, I broke into an enormous grin, it was just so them! We decided to meet at one of their favourite haunts, Pie & Vinyl, for a cuppa and a natter before we ‘officially’ started the session….but being somewhere so beautifully quirky meant I HAD to get my camera out early!
As well as a few pictures alongside their beloved VW Beetle, we enjoyed a spin on the Carousel, a stroll on the seafront and an ice cream in the sun. Bliss!
