Pre-Wedding Photography: Portchester Castle – Vicky & Lorraine

These guys admit themselves that they’ve been waiting a long time to take the final step and actually make their vows to one another.  Next month, the pleasure will be all mine as I get to document the start of a new journey for them.

We spent a fantastic evening sunning ourselves at Portchester Castle for their pre-wedding session.  Joined by their great friend Karen, we strolled the outside of the ruins and challenged the entire tick population to make a move on us as we lounged around in the long grass.  I knew from the outset that these girls were a little apprehensive about having their pictures taken, what I wasn’t prepared for was how much fun they were going to be or how well they’d take to being in front of the camera; even Karen (who had very honestly told me that she hated being photographed) got into the swing of it and actually said at one point that it was “fun!”.  We rounded of the session laughing, nothing could make me happier.

Take a peek at the pictures below and feel free to leave a comment in the section below.
