Ohgosh-Ohgosh-Ohgosh! This was just the most gorgeous Christmassy wedding you could ever hope to photograph!! Ok, so admittedly the weather wasn’t really on our side but is it ever in the UK?
I shot this wedding with a great friend and co-photographer, Helen and I shared with her in advance what I already knew about the day. I told her that the dress was stunning (I’d had a sneak preview) that the table decorations (both the floral arrangements and the crackers) were hand-made by the bride and that one of the most important thing to these guys was that everyone just have a good time.
It was a fabulous day. There is little more that I can say without babbling on for an age and getting very gushy…from the exciteable chatter in the morning, the uplifting ceremony at St Mary’s Church and the beautifully decorated reception at Kings Country Bar & Restaurant, the details in this day just kept coming and I just kept smiling. As did everyone else.
Seeing a couple marry always warms my heart but seeing my lovely friends tie the knot and become united as a family with their gorgeous son, made me especially misty eyed….even more so just days after Christmas!
Thank you, both, for inviting us to photograph your love; I wish you many, many, years of happiness together.
The image of the dress on the bed? Just one of the many reasons why Helen (Alabama Photography) is a fabulous co-photographer!
The image above was one of my preview shots…I’ve lost track of how many people mentioned how like angels these beautiful girls look!
