Who knew that finding time to blog would be so much more difficult with an infant in tow! Still, determination won and I am delighted to show you a selection of images taken at a lifestyle shoot last week.
I was delighted when Alex got in touch and said that she was hoping for some shots of her and her gorgeous son, Zac. She wanted the photographs to show them enjoying each others company during a walk in the countryside – this was right up my street! We arranged when and where to meet and kept our fingers and toes crossed that the weather, which had been horribly unpredictable, behaved itself.
Fortunately, our choice of day paid off as the day dawned, beautiful and sunny with just a hint of cloud – perfect! We did our usual thing, walked, chatted and laughed whilst making sure Zac didn’t end up in too many puddles! We always shoot in a very informal style, capturing what happens as it happens and just make the most of the surroundings. We endured sun, rain and hail during this shoot (!) but were fortunate to find shelter until the worst of it passed.
Zac was incredibly cute, smiling away and happily entertained by a few renditions of “I know and old lady who swallowed a fly”…yes, I did join in! I adore watching mothers with their children, there is nothing quite so beautiful as that look of total adoration and love. These two melted my heart. Watching Zac’s face light up as Alex pulled out every trick in the book to make him happy…it was just perfect.
