The guys married in May on one of those UK days when no-one knows what the heck the weather is going to do and as a result, you spend a LOT of the time peering out of the window! This was, especially, the case for Rachael and Chris who had fallen in love with the idea of an outdoors wedding at Southdown Manor in Petersfield; but found themselves starting the day with cloud cover/ peek of sunshine/drop of rain/ more cloud cover etc! I think it’s safe to say that the relief was palpable when, a short time before the ceremony, it was decided that yes, we were going ahead outside!
Not only are Rachael and Chris two of the kindest and gentlest people to be around but their happiness and joy at marrying was clear for all to see as, I swear, they didn’t stop smiling for the entirety of the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them, I stood back and watched as they received hugs and warm wishes from their nearest and dearest, all the whilst checking that everyone had a drink, wasn’t feeling too cold, had found the travelling OK etc…I was honestly touched by the love and tenderness they showed their loved ones.
I was delighted to find that, by the evening, the weather had cheered up sufficiently that the light was just beautiful at sunset….so I stole Rachael and Chris away for a handful of creative images, and I’m so pleased we did – these guys really are beautiful together.
Right, I’ll stop rambling and will let you take a peek at a handful of images from the day.
Enjoy!
Looks like a lovely and so much fun day.
Wow – what a cool wedding, great couple and amazing outfits.
