I suppose I should start by saying that I’m a professional photographer based in Hampshire in the South of the UK with over 14 years of experience. I am situated near Southampton but am privileged to have provided Wedding and Family Photography throughout the UK and Scotland. One of the biggest perks of my job is seeing new places; I love to travel and I feel exceptionally lucky when couples invite me to photograph further afield – nowhere is off limits!
Having, primarily, focussed on Weddings for over a decade, I have recently taken the decision to focus on Lifestyle photography so that I can better support my family. Feel free to explore the tabs to see examples of my maternity, newborn and family photography.
Professionally speaking, I am absolutely at my happiest when clients tell me how effortless the photography was or how I put them at ease and made them laugh. When someone says ‘I hardly saw you but you were everywhere,’ or ‘I normally hate having my picture taken but that was fun!’ well, that is just the best feeling. I guess I should also add that even more than photography, I love people. Building relationships and connecting with my clients is essential to creating the honest, creative, images that my clients love.
When I don’t have my camera in hand, you are most likely to find me walking in the woods or on the beach with my husband and our two children; if we can marry it up with some yummy food, I’m even happier. I adore reading, romantic movies and log fires and I am, without doubt, a chocoholic, cakeoholic and bookoholic. I have also, recently, returned to the stage after far too many years away…so yes, I do like a little song and dance along the way.
