Ed told me that he knew that Hayley was the one for him the first time that they went strolling, together, on Wimbledon Common…he just had this feeling that she was the one he wanted to walk into old age with. Hayley says she knew he was the one for her when he took her out to lunch and pulled out a two-for-one voucher!! That made me giggle. She did then clarify that the moment when Ed asked her to be his girlfriend, whilst up the Eiffel Tower, was also a pretty amazing moment!
Last weekend, we met by Wimbledon Common (where else?) for a drink and a catch up before their pre-wedding session in the sunshine. They told me about their plan to get back to Hayley’s roots for their wedding, in Cornwall, in July. They will marry in church, surrounded by their nearest and dearest and will follow up with a rustic, barn, celebration at the soon-to-launch wedding barn at Chypraze Farm, Pendeen. It’s all sounding pretty perfect to me!
I watched these two with excitement as they easily slipped into each others company and into one another’s arms; I could tell within the first five minutes of photographing that this was going to be a session that I would love. In fact, I un-wittingly did a little hop-skip-whoop! sort of a thing…and then had to explain my craziness to them. On the plus side, they didn’t appear in the least bit concerned by my tendency to look like I’m dancing whilst working and besides, I think Hayley that was a little busy rolling out her repertoire of Games of Thrones impressions to really even notice!! 🙂
We are beyond excited to see these guys again, when we travel to Penzance to document their wedding…I can’t help but feel that it’s going to be an utterly incredible day.
